A machinery exporter lashing heavy equipment into containers for ocean transit was using steel and chain — heavy to handle, prone to rust in humid marine conditions, and occasionally causing load shift and damage claims on long routes. They wanted a lighter, safer, certifiable securing system for regulated cargo.
Greenstrix supplied composite cord strap (32–50mm, up to ~8,000 Kgf) with matched hot-dip galvanized GI wire buckles as a complete system, made to EN 12195 cargo-securing requirements. DNV/EN 12195 test certification was arranged on request through an accredited third party for the buyer's compliance file, and guidance on lashing quantity and tensioning was provided.
