Composite cord strap (woven polyester, up to ~8,000 Kgf) is a lighter, rust-free, shock-absorbing alternative to steel and chain for in-container and heavy-load lashing. It is made to EN 12195 cargo-securing requirements, with DNV/EN 12195 test certification available on request via an accredited third party. Steel/chain still suit some fixed, very high-load rigging.
